BUFFALO - 1-5 years old, 60 pounds Buffalo was nervous and barky from behind the cage bars. He was found as a stray, without a home, without his people, so I gave him a pass. I was introduced to him outside of the kennel and he is a friendly boy. He is big, a lot bigger outside of the cage than I thought he was going to be. Buffalo took treats gently and knows how to sit on command but didn't do too much of that when we were outside. He trotted around sniffing and then he caught sight of a toy. He snatched it up and started running around in a teasing but playful manner. SO SILLLY! I didn't try to take the toy from him. It is way too soon for anything like that. It was super fun to see how happy he was with that toy. Eventually he dropped the toy and we moved on. He might need some time settling in a new home and meeting new people. Remember your friends and family are still strangers to him. It's always best to let your new pet get accustomed to his or her new home, family, routine at their own pace. We don't know how he feels about other dogs or other animals. Bring any resident dog in for a meet and greet and we will update this bio as we learn more as well.
