VERY LOVING & WELL TRAINED SAMMIE - 10 months old, 40 pounds, house trained, dog social Playful and young, medium size Sammie has seem to hit the revolving shelter door. She's still basically a puppy even at 10 months old.. She is house trained and loves to play. She is nervous when first meeting new people so slow and proper introductions are the key. We are told she can be crated when left alone, can be trusted in a home roaming free and also that she enjoys running around outside. Sammie has tons of energy and gets bored easily. Training is a great way to get a dog's mind working, especially if they get bored easily (hint hint) And this girl is very smart already knowing many commands including but not limited to SIT/STAY/THRESHHOLD/COME/WAIT FOR A TREAT/FOOD. Sammie can get mouthy as many young pups do so that training we mentioned above would help with that mouthiness as well. Sammie is great on a leash making your daily walks very enjoyable. She loves to go for car rides, too, so no reason to leave her behind on a family outing. Sammie is currently in our shelter playgroup with specially chosen playmates. She seems dog social and enjoys running, chasing and barking at other dogs. She also seems like she's good with correcting other dogs when they cross her line. We are also in constant supervision during our shelter playgroups. This is very important as many dogs, although social, can once in a while become pushed a bit too far by another.
