SUPER FUN & SUPER CUTE! DOUGLAS - 3 years old, 50 pounds, friendly, playful, active, very puppy like, crate trained, house trained. Douglas arrived as a stray but, bc he is microchipped, we already know his name and age. Someone loved him. Someone provided a good home and seemed to socialize him pretty well. He is friendly from the start. Happy and sweet and this boy loves treats! Douglas is very active. As soon as we got into the yard, he spotted a toy and that was the end of it! He grabbed it, ran around with it and squeaked it. So funny! He would always come back to me to play but didn't drop it unless I offered a treat. I had to be quick, though, when getting the toy as he jumped for the treat! And then off again, he ran like lightening to retrieve the toy. Douglas seems very puppy like in his energy and spontaneity. Potential adopters should also be ready for this with patience and maybe some training to help create that unbreakable bond that comes with respect and obedience. Douglas was in a foster with another dog and did well. Proper supervision is key as Douglas is a young, energetic boy.
