KERMIT - 8 years old, 80 pounds, house trained, dog social, knows commands (sit, lay down paw), great on leash.
It has been fun getting to know Kermit. He was nervous at first, but once he got to know us, he’s been great. He is loving and sweet, and oh so friendly. Kermit is a daily participant and one of our favorites in our shelter playgroup. He has shown to be dog social – polite, friendly, and appropriate with the other dogs. He loves to run and play and is eager to meet new dogs coming into the group. Our playgroups are never a guarantee of how a dog will react when in a home or public setting but it is helping us get to know Kermit and his behavior at the shelter.
As with all dogs, supervision is so important.
Kermit was an owner surrender. We are told he is not good with cats. An adult home or a home with older kids may be the best fit for Kermit. Come on out to meet Kermit. He is a great boy.
