SLADE - 7 years old, over 100 pounds, adult home only, no other pets, heartworm positive, but shelter is starting treatment.
*He is a big boy who will need an experienced owner.
*He has his quirks and we're going to disclose them right now.
*He gravitates towards one person and is slow to warm up to others.
*He has shown signs of guarding toys and food and is nervous with loud noises and vacuums.
Slade is also loving and protective.
*He is smart and learns quickly.
*He enjoys attention and petting from his person.
*Slade is house trained although he has had accidents when given human food.
*Slade loves to go for walks and he will definitely turn a few heads with his shepherd gait and long fluffy fur.
*Slade is playful but can be vocal when playing.
